I started my role as Operations manager with FCF after originally working as a sub-contractor to the company. During my time as a sub to FCF I grew to know the company and people who are involved in the organization. The company values are what stood out to me the most and after only a short time working as a sub, I realized I wanted to be a part of the bigger picture. I set myself a goal, a goal to work hard, show my value and eventually join the team in management. I am happy to say that I reached that goal and am proud to be part of the team. I started, built and ran a fencing company of my own (YYC Builders) for four years and it was in my 4th year I started working with FCF as a subcontractor. At that point I was running three separate work crews, specializing in all types of fences and decks. During those 4 years, I developed a world of experience in many more areas beyond the construction end of things. I gained experience in customer service, scheduling, material purchasing, payroll, staff management and much more. Since gaining the position as Operations Manager my goals have shifted.
