PROJECTS:CX/EX Data Scientist | Department of Human and Health Services | Arlington VAJULY 2023 – DECEMBER 2023• Needed to help improve our understanding of employee experience at the HHS so our consultants could make informed policy recommendations to the HHS client that would improve employee satisfaction. • Tasked with optimizing survey data, repurposing existing data pipelines and code bases, and enabling dashboard analytics. • Revamped the existing code base to process the survey into flat files that could be loaded into Tableau for visual analysis. • Improved the accuracy and integrity of employee data and enabled better understanding and decision making for recommending improvements to the HHS employee experience. • Analysts also wanted to improve the HHS grant award experience to see what changes and improvements they could recommend. • Tasked with creating and processing open-source data while providing analysis and answering questions based on understanding of the data. • Developed an original data processing codebase designed to clean, transform, and provide analysis depending on what questions our policy analysts wanted answered. • This initiative led to a better understanding of grant distribution, supporting increased transparency in public funds allocation, and enabling more informed recommendations regarding the grant awards process.CI/CD AWS Engineer | Department of Veterans Affairs | Arlington, VAMARCH 2023 – JUNE 2023• Needed to develop and streamline automated deployment process to support application updates and improve operational time to deploy.• Designed a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for seamless integration between GitHub and AWS CodeDeploy. • Led the design of the CI/CD pipeline, and research and evaluated different tools for enabling the process. Collaborated with a cross-functional team to architect a pipeline solution that integrated best practices to emerging technologies.
