Reporting to the Project Director; Jared manages a team of six full time environmental representatives. Responsible for maintaining the project’s Environmental Management System and providing environmental mentorship and assistance to the project team. Management of the community and key stakeholders to the project over three separate councils.

Currently the Environmental Manager on the $110M road upgrade. Mona Vale Road East currently experiences congestion as a result of the steep grade and limited safe vehicle passing opportunities. The improvements include upgrading 3.2 kilometres of Mona Vale Road East between Manor Road, Ingleside and Foley Street, Mona Vale from a two lane undivided road (one lane in each direction) to a four lane divided road (two lanes in each direction).

Environmental Manager of the M4 Smart Motorway Stages 2 and 3. A 200 millions dollar project contracted by RMS to ease congestion along the M4 Motorway. Provided the environmental component of the bid during the tender phase, I have now moved into a a site based role to manage the environmental aspect of the project.

Senior Environmental Advisor managing multiple projects around the Sydney Region. Involved in tendering and business development.

Currently the Acting Environmental Manager on the Northern Beaches Hospital Road Connectivity and Network Enhancement Project. Responsible for overseeing full time environmental employees, consultants, and environmental site team in order to deliver the environmental obligations of the Project.

Maintaining high environmental standards on a road upgrade, my duties have a wide berth encompassing: flora and fauna assessments, erosion and sediment control, waste management, contaminated land management, noise and vibration monitoring, water quality testing, document creation, and site management.

Manage the Integrated Waste Facility in conjunction with the Groote Eylandt BHP Billiton environmental team. Document the type, amount, and frequency of the waste being produced on the island while maintaining excellent environmental integrity.

I started as an intern and was promoted twice, once to the Sales and Marketing Team, and again to Environmental Manager - Transportation. Working for a small company I enthusiastically filled gaps that were not under my job description.
