I graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelors degree in Nursing. In addition to my academic pursuits, I was involved in student organizations and competed on the Men’s Track & Field team for 4 years. The experiences I had at BYU taught me many valuable things, but above all I learned to consistently seek opportunities to learn.I currently work as a psychiatric registered nurse and have experience in both long-term and acute psychiatric care. My experience as a registered nurse working with a vulnerable population has afforded me the opportunity to gain invaluable perspective on life, and learn how each of us are searching for the same thing - peace. I am a licensed and board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas. I strive to provide evidence-based care solutions to mental illness while ensuring that individuals feel unique and valued. Physician-led care is important to me, and I believe that nurse practitioners working within this model have the best chance to provide quality care.
