I’ve got an itch to disrupt the healthcare industry that keeps me on my toes. From building model roller coasters as a kid, to building and implementing EHR solutions, to my latest venture of building a mission-based E-Commerce site - I’ve always been excited at the opportunity to build something new. I live on-mission, am inspired to disrupt the healthcare industry, and am motivated to provide exceptional care without exception. I’m fast paced, scrappy and resourceful under pressure, and am always eager to learn from others. I’m a proud pre-med graduate of Boston University, former rower and water polo player, and an operations leader with 2+ years of experience at Boston Medical Center. My passion for medicine evolved into a knack for improving hospital workflows and operations - a newly discovered passion I’ve decided to pursue through my career. Throughout my time at BMC, I’ve helped to design and implement new workflows and widgets, cross-collaborated with insanely talented physicians and healthcare administrators, and found myself as one of a handful of people commuting to work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. My work has taken me across many subdivisions of hospital care, between inpatient COVID+ floors, ambulatory orthopedic surgery clinics, PPE supply chains, and N95 fit testing operations - I’m proud to be one of the many cogs inside the enormous machine we call the U.S. Healthcare system. Outside of the hospital, my fascination with travel and passion for fitness keep my mind (and heart) healthy. At home, I always seem to be cooking something new in the kitchen - from pizzas, to thai noodles to middle-eastern mezze, you’ll often see me eating leftovers for lunch in the breakroom. My love for fitness, food and culture are central to my identity - this passion translates into my professional work as an operations leader, mentor, and advocate for the underserved.
