 Responsible for providing first and second level support for the NameMedia Help Desk. Monitor all tickets that come through RT to the Help Desk and either solve them myself or escalate them to the appropriate team. Receive updates from the assigned employee and communicate them to the customer until the ticket has been resolve at which point I close it Reimage/run diagnostics on laptops and desktops. Perform virus scans/removals, antivirus installs/updates. Manage distribution groups in Active Directory. Utilize various internal systems as well as JIRA and MySQL. Handle all employee moves/setups Process new hires, create nameplates/new hire manuals for new hires, add them to Active Directory, assign printers, and address books as well. Send out daily email updates of all active Help Desk tickets to heads of each team. This makes it easier for them to keep track of issues they’ve submitted or are interested in.
