● Imaging Technology Deployment and Support○ Served as Support Team Leader for the Indian Health Service – Joslin Vision Network (IHS-JVN) Teleophthalmology Program, a nationwide telemedicine program consisting of approximately 100 sites and a national reading center.○ Served as primary contact for all technical related requests that came to the IHS-JVN Help Desk and addressed a wide variety of operational requests. ○ Coordinated with vendors to purchase, deploy, and repair various pieces of imaging technology.○ Managed the successful deployment of 16 new sites from their selection based on public health need to the deployment of their imaging technology.○ Managed the successful camera upgrade of 30 existing sites (fundus photography to ultra-widefield imaging).○ Contributed to the automation of reports that provided program performance data at the national, site, and imager levels.● Healthcare Software Development○ Engaged in the development and testing of custom healthcare software (e.g. Global Retinal Imager (GRI), JVN Reader, and a Resource and Patient Management System-JVN interface). Included gathering feedback from various users, contributing to requirements and working closely with developers.○ Performed an internal audit of a GRI project per the ISO 9001 (Quality Management)/13485 (Medical Device Quality Management) Certifications of Estenda.● Program Oversight and Strategic Coordination○ Led weekly program status conference calls involving management from multiple organizations.○ Developed and executed custom SQL queries against central database to fulfill data requests from management and research teams.○ Helped develop and execute a plan with IHS Headquarters to migrate inventory management from individual sites/areas to a headquarters level.
