Most recently, I worked as a Spray Foam Sales Representative in the construction industry. In my sales career, I've learned that most salespeople understand that we provide a service, product, need, or want that a potential customer is looking for. However, I can't be truly successful selling to a prospect, unless I have the capacity, and willingness to meet them on their level. I listen to them, and get to truly know the buyer. I like to call it business empathy. For most salespeople, it's a craft they try to hone. For me, without sounding prideful, it's an innate quality and blessing that I was born with and what I believe sets me apart from most salespeople. It's a diamond that I polish rather than dig out of the rough. One of the most important things in life and business is to be eclectic and diversify as much as possible. That being said, I've had experience in inside sales, outside sales, advertising, and creative design. I’ve learned many different editing software programs and have produced a lot of advertising content for churches and small businesses. Everything from print design, social media content creation, and video editing has become part of my wheelhouse of design specialties. In everything that I do, I desire to be a knockout punch, or jack-of-all-trades, in the industry I work for. The best thing you can ever hear from your supervisor is, "Wow, I didn't know you knew how to do that!". Don't just strive to be the best in WHAT you do, be the best in all you CAN do.
