During the summer I was able to job shadow at 1st Advantage Bank. I received a general overview of the loan review and underwriting functions, and conducted global cash flow analysis and collaborated with bank employees to arrive at loan grades. I was exposed to the daily banking functions including opening new accounts and backroom operations. Also, I learned from senior officers principles of bank strategy and overall risk tolerance.
