About Jared Oluoch, Ph.D.

I am a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering Technology at the University of Toledo. I am also privileged to be the Associate Chair of the Department and the Program Director for the CSET and IT programs. As Associate Chair, I assist the Chair with faculty and staff recruitment, mentoring, evaluation, engaging with industry and alumni, and participate in budget discussions. The Department has five academic programs. As Program Director for CSET and IT, I am responsible for curriculum overview, ABET accreditation oversight, student advising, and engagement with the Industrial Advisory Board. As an Associate professor, I am responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in the CSET program and advising graduate students from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I also do research in the areas of Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) and wireless networks. I provide service to both the Department of Engineering Technology and College of Engineering.
