I started working for ABWE in a short-term capacity partnering with them as an independent missionary in 2006 as a teacher primarily to teach Bible in the Missionary School that ABWE has in Santiago, Chile. I went there to "get my feet wet" in a South American culture and to "check out" the potential that Santiago, Chile has for a church-planting camp ministry. I stayed there teaching for a year, then was accepted with GMSA to plant churches through camp ministries. I was able to work at a small church plant nearby while working part time at the ABWE school and for two summers I was the assistant director of Camp Paysandu in Uruguay with GMSA. In 2010 I teamed up with ABWE as a missionary candidate to start a unique, camp ministry that connects Spiritually Mature Chilean young men to target areas where the fruit of the camp lands and needs discipleship. This will help them plant their church avoiding the missionary as the head pastor because of having the Chilean young man as the pastor from the very beginning. I met my wife in 2008 and we were married in 2011. We both speak Spanish, she is a Chilean Pastor's Daughter. Her dad planted their church 9 years ago and it is thriving. About 2 years ago he planted another church about one hour away, he is the pastor of both churches. It's amazing what happens when one who understands the culture completely and who understands the mindsets and who knows the in's and out's of all things "Chilean" is called by Christ to the beautiful work of changing lives through church planting. It is a privilege to be working on such a unique project that could potentially change the face of what missions looks like in Chile; nationals planting churches and us coming along beside them. Helping Schools serve the next generation by providing the best resources for Christian Schools. At Precept I represented 11 companies all to serve schools. Our team was/is a very good team, with great leadership who stood behind us 100%.

Taught for one full year there, then the second semester of the next year as a full-time sub, then two semesters as a full-time sub as I was helping a new church plant and learnign the language. Then the first semester in 2009 as a full-time teacher again.

Worked in the Summers on Director's Staff as the Operations Manager at High Point Camp.

I served in various capacities helping/learning under a national pastor the in's and out's of planting churches in Chile. I served at Camp Pirque in Chile and was the assistant director at Camp Paysandu in Uruguay. I also taught part time in the ABWE missionary school.

Appointed to be the Young Adults Pastor and start a new young adults ministry that we called "Common Ground". It was a joy to see us grow spiritually! I had the privilege of serving in this role until I left for the mission field at the end of August 2006 for almost 3 years. The Lord used this time greatly in my life as we worked hard to make disciple making disciples. All of life comes down to glorifying God through discipleship. We had tremendous success spiritually. I miss every one who we came to love and I miss the "being in the trenches" daily working on discipleship. I was also in Seminary at the same time working to finish the Master of Divinity degree so I could go to the mission field. Pray that we can take what we learned from this very intense 3 years of ministry to another culture. Evangelism & Discipleship.

I was the assistant coach to Ian Gendreau. We liked to call it Associate Head Coach since neither of us had actually coached before. We learned a lot and if I wasn't called to being a missionary I would love to coach full-time. Ian is probably the best coach I have ever seen and worked with.

Assistant Boys Coach for the 15 years old and under team. AAU Basketball. We practiced in the Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. Great experience. Ian Gendreau was the head coach.

Helping students who struggled with their grades in school. One on one help at home and in the classroom because the students had disordered that effected their relationships with authority and that effected their grades.
