In April 2000 I left the U.S. Army and I started at Flowserve. I started in the Assembly department. in the 10 years of assembly I was a master builder of all Flowserve Heritage valves and trained many new employees. I served a backup lead man and lead man on two occasions. I started in the Assembly department. in the 10 years of assembly I was a master builder of all Flowserve Heritage valves and trained many new employees. I served a backup lead man and lead man on two occasions. I built and maintained the oxygen cleaning program and trained key people in O2 clean valves, ran the hydo test section. cold valve testing and customer witness coordinator. In 2010 I took a OJT job in the machine shop. Mainly as the large manual drill operator. this was a 72 in radial arm power fed drill machine with a size range from 1/4 to 4 inch. I also trained on two manual machines. In these roles I learned machine operations and blueprint reading. In 2011 I took a Sales job in the QRC department of Flowserve. In this role I built and maintained great working relationships with our outside sales reps and direct customers. I manage QRC valves, QRC spares, WTY orders and RGA orders. Using Performance!, Oracle, Microsoft office, Excel, Word and Outlook. along with lotus and several internal programs, I managed parts, orders and delivery of Flowserve parts. As a QRC department every order is often time critical and requires hands on management to meet deliveries. Working with Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, Production and shipping departments directly o ensure the customer received what they need. when they needed it. On call after hours and a rotating weekend schedule to meet the needs of our customers. In 2014 Our department changed and I was moved to the main sales department. in that role i took on more of a Customer satisfaction ambassador. Dealing with mainly Wty orders Repair orders While still managing my QRC valves. In this role I manage all Field Service Orders, Wty Orders and RGA orders. Working directly with customers who are having issues with new products, or need work done to old valves. I have been here nearly16 years. Show less
