Jared has worked in the manufacturing and transportation industries since 2008 and joined Parker Towing in 2011. Prior to joining Parker Towing, he served as Manufacturing Manager for steel processor Scot Industries Inc. in Talladega, AL. A native of Huntsville, Jared is a proud graduate of The University of Alabama School of Business earning a B.S. degree in Operations Management earning President's List and Dean's List Honors. He has also completed executive education programs in Corporate Finance attending The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. Jared is an active member of First United Methodist Church Tuscaloosa and a graduate of the church’s inaugural Timothy Leadership Class. He is also graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa – Class #30.. He resides in Tuscaloosa with his wife the former Alison Parker Haun and their sons Parker and Theodore.Parker Towing owns and operates over 30 towboats, over 400 covered and open hopper barges, a fleet of 30k barrel tank barges, and inland river terminals across the Southeast.
