Jared Powell is a Senior Project Manager at NMR Group, where he leads quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis as a part of the evaluation of renewable energy and energy efficiency programs. His work involves characterizing the environmental and market impacts of these programs, and identifying opportunities for improving how they function, to better serve their target audiences and improve their outcomes. His experience includes extensive work conducting interviews, analyzing the results of surveys and residential on-site data collection studies, moderating focus groups, and drafting reports. As a RESNET-certified HERS rater, he has conducted hundreds of energy audits throughout New England for evaluations of residential green building programs. In 2017, he was also elected to serve on the NMR Board of Directors, ensuring staff perspectives are factored into the Board's decisions.He used to be the Senior Paralegal and Research Associate at a prestigious D.C. law firm that specialized in complex litigation and regulation. Jared holds an M.S. from the University of Massachusetts Boston in Environmental Science, and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Williams College.
