This was a school funded project that allowed my team and I to work directly with Disneyland Resort. The project involved:• Designed and manufactured a device that was able to replicate vehicle clearance geometry, while moving the vehicle along the track’s path to check for proper clearances. The device has a battery housing unit mounted on top which powers a Lidar sensor. The sensor produces data which then is displayed graphically for the user.• Device was tested on site to ensure design requirements were met.• Project deliverables included background research, 5conceptual designs for review, Stress-strain analysis of CAD prototypes, 3 prototype iterations, feasibility testing, final report and presentation• Performed machining and construction of prototypes
