As an economist with more than a decade’s experience analyzing complex data, developing models, and delivering evidence-based recommendations, I am eager to bring my experience to bear tackling new challenges. I pride myself on my rigorous economic analysis and my common-sense approach to problem solving, which have aided me in readily meeting mission goals in previous positions. At the FDIC, I developed the institution's only stochastic failure-loss prediction model and later led the team that validated it for corporation-wide use. In addition to this multi-year achievement, I regularly contributed analytical and academic publications, presented in a diversity of forums ranging from industry leaders and CEOs to academics and general audiences, and provided a hoc technical expertise as needed.
