I am an aerospace engineering alumnus of the University of Alabama Huntsville currently working as an Engineer for Jacobs Space Exploration Group. My interests vary widely from aerospace medicine to applied physics to nonlinear dynamics and chaos, and I am looking for opportunities that allows me to explore these interests while working to make a difference.Currently, my work involves the use of C++ and MATLAB to develop software tools for use in modeling and simulation. I have also interned previously at Phased n Research, developing statistical data analysis tools in MATLAB for use in verification and validation.During university, I worked on multiple projects with different groups of people. For senior design, I was our team's avionics and human factors engineer. In this role, I worked to develop the cockpit design, instrumentation, and power systems for a tactical aerial firefighter. This project culminated in a research paper submitted to AIAA for international competition. Another project I worked on was electric vehicle conversion with the Electric Vehicle Club at UAH. Despite knowing little about car mechanics, I learned a lot during my time in the club and eventually helped my teammates successfully convert the car. I also worked as the club secretary to provide for club communication, notetaking, and outreach. A final representative project is the computational fluid dynamics programs I wrote for compressible aerodynamics. I utilized VBA Excel, Python, and MATLAB to analyze high-speed fluid flow and thermodynamics in a nozzle and around aerodynamic surfaces. More projects exist, but I feel these best represent my growth and interests as an engineer.
