The understanding and implementation of health and fitness is my passion. Through personal education and a series of brilliant internship/work experienced I have had the opportunity to learn from incredibly forward thinkers in the field who get results. It was through my obsession with understanding physiology that I stumbled upon the interwoven web of nutrition and psychology as well, leading towards my curiosity as a generalist between these fields rather than the myopic focus of a specialist. Parallel to my educational experiences I had tandem experience in training/educating a variety of ages in a myriad of applications. As a staff manager and certified rescue staff at an adventure park, I honed my skills at training not only the staff but clients as well. I also learned vital skills at calmly and efficiently relaying information in high stress situations where safety is of concern.Additionally I have experience in creating effective training programs and being the liaison for said programs to groups and individual clients. This taught me direct accountability for my work, and brought immense satisfaction as the success of my clients reflected personal success of my programs and coaching. I am exceedingly energetic and passionate when communicating with individuals and am comfortable with leading a group. Years of leadership roles from high school through collegiate athletics has taught me how to inspire a group to action, and crave an environment which fosters the same type of culture that athletics breeds; excellence and forward thinking.
