Title Change - Duties akin to Computer Technician (District Office)

While still performing Computer Technician duties at the District Office, I am also:•Researching latest devices for school-age children (K-8), administrators, and support staff for our 10 schools. (About 1000+ staff members with 7000+ school-age children)•Speaking directly to vendors and manufacturers for up-to-date information regarding latest technology and its compatibility with our infrastructure such as Promethean, Dell, CDWG, Premise One, Troxell, Sentinel, etc.•Distribution of imaged laptops and desktops, as well as provisioned Chromebooks, to our School Site Technicians for deployment.•Acts on escalated tickets from Site Technicians for additional support.•Updating Chromebooks via Google Workspace to ensure our testing applications are also up to date.•Writing and communicating new procedures, as well as any changes, to our Site Technicians to keep our District uniformed in regards to said procedures.•Communicating disposal of recyclable electronics when needed.

•Computer technician for Laveen Elementary School working with students, administration, parents, and teachers to ensure all technological peripherals are managed, working, dispersed, and taught to use properly and efficiently.•Responds in a timely manner for all Help Desk tickets which require knowledge of known products that the District has allowed, which also includes the knowledge of new technologies that may be implemented.•Experience includes maintenance of Projectors (Hitachi, Optoma, inFocus), SMARTBoards, PC’s (Desktops/Laptops), Apple products (iPads/Cisco Meraki), Chromebooks (provisioned/cart maintenance), and general troubleshooting.
