Responsible for a broad range of duties including the day-to-day management of information security tools and devices, project implementation of security initiatives, including significant monitoring responsibilities for the security administration of a wide variety of IT systems. Serve as the subject matter expert for technical security solutions, controls and architecture. Provide technical duties for infrastructure related to, encryption, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanning, security monitoring, authentication, access control systems, and security awareness training.

• Enforce national, DoD, and Air Force security policies and directives; employ hardware and software tools to enhance the security by installing, monitoring, and directing proactive and reactive information protection and defensive measures to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of IT resources• Administer and manage the overall Information Assurance (IA) program to include Communications Security (COMSEC), Emissions Security (EMSEC) and Computer Security (COMPUSEC) programs• Identify potential threats and manage resolution of security violations
