I build software that automates accounting stuff. I built the quickbooks-desktop Python library. I built the SyncFreedom library and web service which let's python developers use QuickBooks Online's API directly. I've build a bunch of utilities and programs around QuickBooks Desktop and Online which automate accounting tasks.I’m a CFO Level Accountant and a Python Developer. This combination allows me to extract impactful insights out of a company’s financial & sales data and then to build automated processes & custom programs that have saved businesses thousands of hours of manual labor. My deeper analysis has led to strategy changes and improved efficiency across multiple organizations. As I learned how to program, I realized that Accounting needed a general purpose programming language to call their own. I've vetted a number of popular general purpose languages and learned that Python is the perfect fit. I launched AccountingPy.com to teach accountants how to program with Python.
