Service Centre Manager for Birmingham, one of the largest SVCs in the UK; handling 3.1M shipments each year across 1.2M deliveries and collections.• Responsible for a yearly direct budget of £6.9m delivering against key financial targets. 2020 first full year, Operational Cost YoY – 5.1% saving, v budget 6.9% saving. Pick Up/ Delivery savings of YoY 6.4% and v Bud 4.4% respectively. 2022 currently tracking 5.7% below adjusted KPIs.• Successfully managed a structural change in the SVC through 2020 with the reduction of 2 excess supervisory heads. Yielding a total yearly saving of circa £55k.• Responsible for the management (including price negotiations) of 3rd party contractors providing materials and services to DHL. • Leading a team of 3 motivated managers and 14 supervisors, supporting internal development with a number of key promotions from the bottom line. • Successfully managing through the two of the largest detractors, BREXIT and the COVID-19 pandemic whilst maintaining service levels for our customers. 2021 – 26th in SC table versus 42nd 2020. 2022 – YTD tracking 14th.• Early electrification adopter with 10% of routes electrified with a plan for 2022 to be 49% electrified Q3 2022.

Inbound Operations Manager at DHL's East Midlands Hub, one of the largest HUBs in DHL's global network of 220 countries and territories.- Managing a team of 300+ employees across three sub departments. - UK Imports - Mezzanine (Automated Smalls Sorter) - Offloads.- Responsible for the management of an Automated Sort System capable of handling 22k pieces per hour, upgrading to 65k pieces per hour.- Successfully handling 200k customer shipments per night with solid connectivity performance.- Proven leader with employee opinion results going forward each year with 2017 being the greatest yet.

Managing two teams at DHL's East Midlands HUB:- Day Operations - Senior Supervisor, Supervisor and 15 Operations Agents. Responsible for the recovery and set up operations of the HUB. Working alongside a country network of +40 Service Centres to ensure the timely connection of shipments. Responsible for the implementation of a number of initiatives to improve upon business efficiencies, team restructure and alignment, updated scanning processes and shipment handling SOPs. -Special Handling - Two Supervisors and 15 Special Handling Agents. DHL's Ground Handling team based at EMA offering a wide variety of services to the ad-hoc aviation cargo market. Supporting key government departments such as the Department for International Development during disaster response operations. Handling team for Formula 1 and Formula E. Managed team though a restructure to provide 7 day a week cover to the market. Won a number of short term handling contracts supporting a £1.1m revenue figure 2014/15 fiscal year.

Infrastructure Support Manager for DHL Aviation UK.Implemented and managed DHL's eAWB integration with IATA and various Airline partners. Now rolled out globally with great success.Wrote, submitted and project managed a number of business cases from +£100k security upgrade to a £500k GSE replacement programme.Co-wrote the LHR HUB IT business requirements document and worked alongside EU IT to implement the changeover to SATS.
