I am currently working in the Deals practice as a Financial Due Diligence Senior Associate at Sikich. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and a minor in information technology, as well as graduated in 2020 with a Master of Science in accounting. My work history consists of experiences in technology, telecommunications & media, consumer products, manufacturing and retail, and automotive & transportation industries. Additionally, I hold an active CPA license in the State of Michigan.I began my career in IT and Financial auditing at PwC. I quickly became acting senior on my main three audit clients and became the lead client contact on each engagement. Further, I coached and trained associates, interns, and abroad team members to ensure their learning & understanding, and to create a successful environment for the team. I initiated and encouraged well-being programs for my audit teams, such as a walking step/exercise challenge, volunteering together, and team dinners. From the technical-side, I primarily audited and supervised the revenue (ship and billed & software) and inventory cycles, bonus/license/warranty accruals, goodwill assessment, and journal entry and consolidation testing, etc.I completed a rotation and subsequently transferred into Financial Due Diligence (FDD), a group within PwC Deals. This group primarily focuses on M&A activity for buy-side and sell-side engagements for private equity, middle market, and big business clients. I’ve had the opportunity to work on acquisitions ranging from less than $50m to $3b in purchase price. I’ve also gained experience working with divestitures and spin-offs for Fortune 500 companies. Moreover, I supervised the spin-off of two business segments in a >$100 billion revenue client. Additionally, in this role, I focused on analyzing and prioritizing historical financial and operational data, creating analyses and exhibits relating to key focus areas and questions, building financial models, as well as coordinating and drafting management meeting agendas, request listings, and report writing. Overall, I've had the pleasure to assist and collaborate with startups to global clients and teams. I've had many experiences collaborating with others and leading teams, solving difficult problems using data analytics, and being flexible and organized to adapt to fast-changing work environments. I have always enjoyed learning new things, staying curious, and being open-minded to maintain my development and growth, both in and out of work.
