In this role, I provide support and manage sales for Associated Wholesale Grocers meat and seafood categories in the Kansas City division, representing over 5M in weekly sales. In my position, I mentor and consult grocery store owners and meat department managers. I work in tandem with these grocers to maximize their sales and profit using merchandising, production, product, pricing, and P&L management strategies.

I managed three Costco meat departments throughout the Kansas City metro area, each with over 1 million dollars in monthly gross revenue. In this role, I used weekly P&L reports and per-period benchmarks to lead the region in various metrics, including minimum hidden shrinkage and maximum gross revenue. I led strong meat department teams and developed hourly employees into meat department managers. I worked in several Kansas City area Costco locations to create the most significant impact on the company and region.

I worked from a meat apprentice to an assistant manager with Cosentinos. With over twenty-five Kanas City area locations, each with over 80k weekly sales, I worked with and learned from various company leaders by moving between stores during my career here.
