• Responsibilities:
• Create and implement effective technical planning, forecasting and BBC business requirements gathering.
• Assist the Product Owner with the management of Pan BBC Product Steering and User Groups
• Facilitate and lead product/service reviews across the portfolio
• Gather, document, evaluate, prioritise and publish BBC business requirements associated with AEP and its work with Scisys
• Publish roadmaps that provide effective and timely communication with relevant BBC business divisions.

As part of the BBC's Solution Design Team, I assist departments and divisions in the BBC as a subject matter expert on metadata and interfaces between systems. I was mainly working in Radio, and am using my in depth knowledge of audio systems and radio business processes to lobby for strategic solutions whilst assisting the delivery of real solutions in.

Working to the Head of Technology in Radio and Music, providing metadata and systems integration strategy and expertise. Worked on the integration aspects of the digital playout system for Radio & Music, Digital music delivery pilot in R1, Radio Digital Archive Project, and the R&M interoperability pilot.

In charge of technichal infrastructure from internal servers to video/audio edit suites.

Providing technichal consultancy/project engineering to the BBC'c Digital Audio Broadcast team.I set up the playout system for the pilot of 6 Music, and then enhanced it so that it was suitable for launch. This playout system was used by 6 Music from launch until they migrated to VCS dira! in 2003. I also built a tool to aid the migration of music metadata.
