Cliche, but yes I'm a web developer who also dog walks. They are two things I love and find therapeutic to some regard and in their respective rights. Both take care and attentiveness, with additional creative problem solving. Just like when a dog misbehaves, code can too, so knowing what to do for specific challenges is fundamental. Time and time again, I find that many others work in these fields for arbitrary reasons and won't readily take the extra step to continuously advance their knowledge and expertise. Although not apparent on the surface, being able to take lessons from various fields and apply them to separate problems is something I strive for. You never know what connections you can make when you think well outside the box.

As the lead and only front-end engineer at Fanmire, I have never been more challenged in my career as a web developer. Our team is small, so many of us have to step well outside our respective fields to bring our collective dream as a start-up to fruition. It has been such a valuable journey and I'm greatful to be able to learn so many fundamental skills through working here. Starting before graduating highschool, I would do it all over again the same way, because I not only found a means to follow my passion, I also found a family of like minded, passionate, and driven colleagues.I beleive no other position or company could have helped me become the developer I am today. There isn't enough space to add all the skills I've gained and developed while working here. 50 doesn't even cover those specific to my title, and maybe 100 won't cover all of them in their entirety.
