Jared has over a decade of experience in design, from working full-time in the professional industry, to doing some Freelance work on the side.After teaching himself the in-depth workings of the programs he uses today, he studied Graphic Design at IT Business Campus in Cape Town. Straight after finishing he went into the web design industry for Click Design where he created user friendly and appealing websites. He was responsible for communicating with the clients and giving them the product they needed.Later Jared joined the ZaPOP team where he was a one man design team, which grew to a team of five designers.His main responsibilities was User Interface designs for various digital platforms, corporate presentations, product advertisements, 3D modelling with Google SketchUp, Digital Media advertising, and many other tasks. He prides himself on the quality and speed that a task can be completed.After learning a lot about printed design and in-store advertising from ZaPOP, and all the fundamentals of working with a great team of designers, Jared decided that it was time for a change. This is when SilverTree Capital made use of Jared for his freelancing services and then asked him to join on permanently. Once he joined the team, his responsibilities included designoing all the advertising banners, UI/UX designs, and any other needed designs for all of the subsidiary companies under the SilverTree Capital name. Working closely with management to get the perfect design as quickly as possible.Currently working for a top agency in Cape Town, MDOT, he is the senior UI/UX designer and overseeing the digital side of design. His responsibilities are not limited to the digital side, because of his lightning-speed turn around time, he is utilised in the other areas of the business.His knowledge of the software used, and attention to detail is easily portrayed the top quality work he presents. Jared enjoys the work he does and will always try and better himself.
