Second Rotation in Whirlpool’s Manufacturing Leadership Development Program. Assembly Quality Engineer for Front Load Washing Machines. Worked quickly to assist in resolving highly impactful opportunities for quality improvement within the assembly and manufacturing processes; utilizing the 7 Steps of WCM QC Problem Solving and Quality Maintenance. Lead the quality portion of two new successful product launches from the plant side; delivering the Occurrence and Release, PFMEA, Control Plan, and Early Product Containment Procedure. Lead a small team to drive constant improvement to deliver the best product we can to the customer.

First role within Whirlpool’s Manufacturing LDP. Used Component Based Maintenance to WCM PM Steps 1-3 to all Robots within the Plant, presented at the Clyde Fall 2023 WCM Audit. Other projects include introducing VLM to increase inventory capacity in a Major Kaizen. Used Sarbanes-Oxley Act to clear obsolete equipment and make room for new while introducing a new process for extended-storage inventory management.

Managing and operating SEM and FIB machine at The University of Akron

Part-Time R&D position working on developing testing procedures and fixturing for ATM’s and the components inside of them for some specific projects at the company.

• XRF project to determine accuracy of the machine and determine the best procedures to optimize the measurement using Lean Six-Sigma procedures• Piping and Pressure Vessel RAGAGEP and PSM project developing a quicker and more effective procedure to inspect the thickness of the pipes and vessels to ensure they do not pose any safety hazard• Wrote Operating Procedures of new equipment we have in the lab• Multiple Failure Analysis projects, gaining an understanding of typical mechanical and corrosion failures within DuPont manufacturing and preforming analysis on metallography on worn materials

Work as an extra set of hand to preform tasks such as moving dirt, stone, and other things. Installed drain tile and sewage pipes, as well as applying tar to buildings for waterproofing. Also able to maneuver basic equipment such as an excavator or a dump truck.
