Jared has been instrumental in managing the entire network infrastructure for Deep South Equipment that includes teaming with multiple vendors for procurement. Jared was instrumental in encouraging management to purchase Deep South Equipment’s Square 9 document management system. This allowed us to create workflows and processes by eliminating paper as well as improve business efficiencies for all internal departments. Jared has also been instrumental in processes built around Deep South Equipment’s rental process for customers as well as creating a process using SQL and service workorder historical data to manage overtime on rental equipment. Jared implemented a backup solution for all Deep South Equipment On-Prem servers using Microsoft Azure and Veeam Backup solutions. He also is a Microsoft 365 office administrator for Deep South Equipment responsible for monitoring email traffic and blocking potential threat actors. Jared is also tasked with managing all building security systems and camera monitoring systems. Deep South Equipment has seen exponential growth since Jared has been working at Deep South Equipment growing from 5 locations in 2009 to 10 locations in 2024.

Jared incorporated his own business to be an independent contractor for General Motors while working closely with other Robot programmers at the Shreveport facility. He was part of a team that implemented new production lines and his role was to prepare the robots for production by path programming all the robots and prepare them for production by ensuring work quality of the robot’s function and creating paths that were timely and efficient. He also continued to support the production facility by assisting GM personnel in the event of production downtime.

Jared was the Residential Site Service Engineer for Kuka Robotics for different projects for two different automotive manufacturing facilities. He was stationed in Kansas City at the Ford production facility supporting 83 robots directly out of school. He was responsible for troubleshooting and repairing robot downtime issues while following customer safety protocols. Jared also supported General Motors in Shreveport, Louisiana where they would grow to have over 700 Kuka robots on site. Jared was responsible for troubleshooting robot failures while working closely with General Motors employees and his team in Michigan. He was also responsible for training all the skilled trades technicians at the General Motor Assembly plant on Robot functionality and software issues.
