I graduated from WVU with a BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources in May 2011. While at WVU I was on the swim team for 3 years and studied abroad in Estonia for a semester. After graduating I did an internship with Walt Disney World for 6 months before starting my professional career in January 2012. Before my professional career I worked for Trout Unlimited with the partners program with USFWS and also did an internship with the USFWS in high school. I started my career working for a consulting company for four years. I then worked for RES, a mitigation company for three years, before going back to consulting. I worked at Kleinfelder for year and a half performing bat program lead roles, stream and wetland delineations, field flagging for permitted areas, stream and wetland reports, bat habitat assessments and surveys. I can/have surveyed and carried out mist net and acoustic surveys for bats in PA, IL, and WV. In Feb 2021 I transitioned to a state position with the Conservation Agency. At the CA I was the Tygart's Valley Conservation Specialist in charge of enhancement programs for the district. June 7, 2021 I accepted a position at the Elkins Operating Center as a member of the WVDNR Wildlife Resources Coordination Unit and IRT.
