I am currently a student at Manchester Metropolitan University, studying Business Management with Law. I have experience in a professional sporting environment as a full-time athlete, which has developed my leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Also while being in this environment, at the same time, I attended Loughborough College doing a BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3 in Sports & Exercise Science. I also have NVQ in Sporting Excellence, accompanied by an FA Level 2 coaching badge and First aid qualification.I have experience of working in education for a short time period, the tasks included teaching simple maths, leading physical education lessons, marking work and assisting teachers.I have also got experience in youth coaching with Chesterfield FC which has developed me and also links with the catalyst aspect of my unrealised strengths.As an individual, I am used to being leader and having to lead by example in everything I do, whether it be in a academic, or sporting capacity. I hope to gain the opportunity to improve my ‘unrealised strengths’ which will help when I reflect on myself by using the Gibbs model (1988).
