I began work with Fifth Third Bank at their headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio in late June, 2011. I was an Investment Advisor Associate. This is the title for all members of the leadership program that I was in, called the Investment Advisor Leadership Program. The program is a 2 year rotational based program meant to combine experience and exposure throughout the division to build leaders in the bank. In my first year , I spent 3 months a piece in 4 different rotations throughout the bank's investment advising division. These rotations included: Private Bank Administration Group, Investment Managment & Trust Group/Portfolio Management, Institutional Services Group, and Investment/Securities operations. Year 2 of the program includes 2 six month rotations, in roles of my preference, and upon graduation from the program, I will begin a permanent role with the bank in one of the areas of my greatest interest and strength. I spent the first 6 months of year 2 working with the Wealth Management Advising team in the Private Bank, and I spent my final rotation of the program working with a Senior Private Banker.
