I help sales, account management and operations team to put together integrated services offerings, helping build business cases for integrated services and looking for ways to simplify and save costs in a very cost prohibitive business environment. I aid in communications between segments and client. I aid in contract review for any inconsistencies. I tried to show the value that the project manager can bring to a project from the tendering phase and onward.

Bogota, Santa Marta, and Cartagena, Colombia. I was in charge of helping the clients (Petrobras and Anadarko) with logistics and coordination of all Schlumberger services associated with deep water operations. I was the single point of contact for the client operations team to aid in smooth communication between Schlumberger segments. Duties included managing contracts, tracking logistics and costs for 8 contracts in very complicated offshore work in a new offshore market, total contract value of $60 million and $75 million. I created HSE plans, Communication plans, Logistics plans, etc. to aid in fluid project execution. I was part of the project operations team giving input as requested and chasing a number of questions regarding Schlumberger services.Montevideo, Uruguay. I was in charge of helping Total with logistics, importation and coordination of all Schlumberger services associated with deep water operations. I was the single point of contact for the client operations team to aid in smooth communication between Schlumberger segments. I managed various third party contracts, tracking logistics and costs for 5 direct contracts in very complicated offshore work in a new offshore market. Total contract value $17 million. I dealt with government officials, customs brokers and various third parties. This well also broke a world record for water depth of an oil and gas well.

Sugar Land, TX Within Schlumberger Carbon Services I worked on several projects of $5 million throughout the US, including most of the DOE NETL partnerships’ projects. I dealt with budgeting, scheduling, client relations, geologic modeling and simulation team, risk assessments, developing a project management plan, drilling operations supervision, government contracts management and other project duties as required. Calgary, AB, and Estevan, SK, I worked on the $25 million PTRC Aquistore CCS project in charge of well construction planning and operations; risk management, leakage and environmental monitoring, compliance and outreach plans, drilling, completions and testing, procurement, contract management for foreign governments, research entities and local governments and budget. I managed Schlumberger internal services and third parties including rig provider, welders, accommodations, including casing hands, well engineers and supervisors, and multiple other third parties competitors services when best fit for the project. I dealt with stakeholders both internal and external, giving progress reports and working with the project team to make informed decisions to help the project progress. Also, I provided tours around the worksite to stakeholders and visitors, foreign and domestic. I was involved in $2 billion SaskPower’s Boundary Dam project with modeling efforts, operations support and environmental planning, permitting/licensing. I also took on the role of program manager while I oversaw several smaller projects ($5 million) in Canada in various stages from research and study to final project closure operations. These responsibilities included simultaneous management of several projects with differing teams with some overlap. All projects lead to completion within allotted timeframe and budget; including change management decisions. I worked on the Carbon Management Canada, CaMI FRS #1 project in charge of well construction operations.

Sugar Land, TX, I worked on DOE funded projects in North and South America for Schlumberger Carbon and Water Services ranging from $1 million to $5 million. I was in charge of estimations, making bids, invoicing, arranging and helping execute field services for several ongoing CO2 sequestration projects mostly in the USA. I was in charge of service and data delivery plans associated with projects. Other responsibilities included attending conferences and educating internal and external stakeholders about our services through visits, presentations and follow ups. I was involved in developing the environmental monitoring plan for the projects. I worked with the project team on Illinois Basin Decatur Project with procurement of down hole equipment.

Hobbs, NM, I was in charge of scheduling and dispatching eight Reservoir Evaluation and Production Services wireline trucks, purchasing, budgeting, personnel hiring and releasing, technical support and development, mentoring, invoicing, contracts, billing, business management, field sales, client relations, crisis abatement, etc. I was also in charge of team compliance to applicable OSHA and DOT laws as well as our internal QHSE standard and certifications

Wireline Open hole and cased hole operations on land and offshore. Dongara, Western Australia – After obtaining the highest field engineer rank, I was promoted to engineer-in-charge. I was independent from the main base of operations. I supervised land operations. I lead and completed a project on CO2 sequestration including business model and wireline tool development plan, other duties included client relations, training, purchasing, budgeting, maintenance, schedule and completion of Reservoir Evaluation and Production Services work for Origin Energy and ARC Energy. I was supervisor over two crews covering 1600 miles of territory.

I worked as a civil engineer in the design of roads and with the Autocad program making digital format maps of pipe ways for the city. I also worked as a city building inspector confirming building construction as per blueprints and UBC.

I was a qualified court interpreter for Cache County and Box Elder County for the First District, Juvenile, and City Courts. I interpreted from Spanish To English and vice versa for persons appearing before the judge, and in private legal proceedings.

I ran my own business as a carpenter renovating houses, designing and constructing buildings, fences, and other small projects. Also, worked as a subcontractor on bigger projects.
