• 3D scanned U.S. Marine Corps’ tactical wheeled vehicles (MRAPs, JLTV, HMMWV, HIMARS, LVSR, MTRV, ULTV) with an Artec Eva scanner. Mapped vehicle cab internals onto a common motion platform using SolidWorks and XTract3D.
• Reverse engineered vehicle components such as shifter assemblies, parking brakes, throttle locks, and load handling systems for use in a common IO platform.
• Designed and assembled prototype geo-pairing packages for M4, M240 weapons. 3D printed weather-resistant buttstocks and enclosures to house sensors package, wireless modules, and removable batteries.
• Reworked legacy cast laser base to replace costly features with separate machined components. Reduced price per part by 33%, NRE by 40%, and defect rates from 50% to 6%.
