As Branch Operations Specialist, a large portion of my time was spent answering questions from branch staff in regards to policies and procedures. Additionally, it was my duty to monitor and maintain currency flow for the branch vault and ATM. I was also frequently called upon to troubleshoot the hardware and software used within our branch. I was also in charge of creating the weekly work schedules for the branch staff. At any time when the Branch Manager and Assistant Manager were out of the office, I was the sole supervisor at the branch. This happened fairly frequently when one of the managers was on vacation, at lunch, or in a meeting.

As Universal Representative, my job was to help membership with any questions, concerns, or problems they had with their credit union products. A typical day would consist of many different things so it was important to know as much as possible about all of the products and services the credit union had to offer. While opening new accounts, it was necessary for me to be able to answer any questions the new member had about their account or the credit union while at the same time looking for opportunities to offer additional products and services. Frequently, the I would spend a lot of time troubleshooting member debit cards and online banking accounts. I also spent a good deal of time processing loan applications, initiating wire transfers, and performing IRA maintenance.

The main function of my job as Member Service Representative was to process everyday teller transactions. Typically this would consist of withdrawals, deposits, and transfers but I was able to perform basic account maintenance.

My job description would fluctuate daily as a Production Assistant. The basic description of the job was to produce audiovisual content to air on television. At any shoot, I could be called upon to direct, mix audio, setup studio lighting, edit, generate graphics, or operate a camera. Because of the broad range of potential responsibilities, it was extremely important to be very well rounded in all aspects of video production. It was also important to be able to perform these functions in any location as shoots could take place at any number of locations such as a studio, a government building, or outdoors.

My job as Programming Director for IUSTV was to ensure the consistent production of television programs that were of the highest quality. This also meant making sure that the content of the programs was suitable for all audiences. As Programming Director, I sat on the station's executive board and helped to make big picture decisions that would affect the future of IUSTV as well as its relationship with organizations within the university.
