I work as a component validation engineer on the team that integrates our AI (perception/planning) stack with our low-level drive controller. I focus on building automation and infrastructure for our localization and collision-avoidance systems.

Lead GNSS testing efforts for Topcon agricultural products, performing a wide variety of static and dynamic validation and performance testing on Topcon's AGI-4 and SGR-1 receivers as well as regression and validation testing of the GNSS-specific parts of the Topcon X14, X25 and X30 user consoles. Spent a significant amount of time testing Topcon's first Precise Point Positioning (PPP) engine, and its respective subscription service, TopNet Global D.

Worked in the Product Management group in a global team focusing specifically on product verification and validation. As one of the few agricultural engineers in the Livermore office, I provide a wide range of support to various teams in Topcon Precision Agriculture, including the Program Management, Customer Service, QA, and Marketing teams. My primary tasks include final product validations, writing test procedures, and lending my expertise in the agriculture industry to help Topcon's Product Management group set product strategy. Highlights:- Co-lead on GNSS position accuracy improvement study for low-cost systems that yielded a substantial reduction in cross-track error - Developed Matlab programs for error analysis for receivers operating in dynamic conditions- Developed test procedures and led testing and validation effort of PCB revisions on three radio modules and one main receiver PCB. - Led a major expansion of TPA's lab setup in the Livermore office. Designed and built new test bench set up to test eleven systems simultaneously.- Performed final testing and validation for our two newest user consoles, X14 and X25 market release.- Final testing and validation for Topcon's Sunrise UI software releases, 3.17 and 3.18

Co-founded and managed a startup specializing in resource assessment in the wind energy industry until our acquisition by One Energy. Our flagship product was the Continuum Wind Flow Model, an accurate, intuitive and affordable software for wind farm developers. Along with my partner, I helped set product and pricing strategies, kept the books and executed legal documents, and planned long-term company strategy.

Provided customer service and support to Novariant's end users, OEM partners, and legacyAutoFarm dealers by fielding technical calls and emails, as well as processing RMA requestsand sales orders. Was also tasked with tracking/analyzing product warranty performance and trends, as well as coordinating with the engineering staff to solve complex customer issues. I also served as a technical expertfor the sales team, answering engineering questions during sales meetings with potential OEM partners.

Helped design and launch Novariant's first single-antenna steering solution, GeoSteer. Qualified the system's operation on a wide variety of agricultural vehicles, designed/updated over 100 vehicle-specific installation kits, and performed a the bulk of the performance testing on different vehicle types.After product release, I worked on qualifying vehicles new to the market and the design and testing of other product improvements.

Worked on field testing the Corn Drought Resistance 1 and Drought Resistance 2 genes. Managed day-to-day field operations such as planting, harvest, spraying, drip tape installation/extraction, seedbed prep, etc. Also responsible for maintenance and repair of field equipment as well as field agronomics, irrigation of different treatment blocks, and assisting with data collection, plot layout and irrigation design.

Worked as a research assistant for yield trials, maturity notes, maturity separations and purifications for disease-resistant soybean cultivars that will be released from Iowa State as germplasm. Primary research focus is on Soybean Cyst Nematode (Heterodera glycines), with studies also in Sudden Death Syndrome (Fusarium virguliforme), Phytopthora root rot (Phytopthora sojae), and Brown Stem Rot (Phialophora gregata).
