A key member of the Optima Application campus management who works with the customer, technical, and site teams to provide Engineering, Facilities, EH&S expertise, and Operational Excellence as we look to support our customers projects, prototypes and activities.

Driving strategy across several business processes encompassing project and product portfolio management for North and South America, ensuring resources are focused on strategic growth.

Working with Automotive OEM development teams on application, scale up and launch activities related to coatings systems for their vehicle models, including prototype builds. Also engaging in site wide environmental, health, and safety initiatives as part of the leadership team.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of vehicle refinish liquid coatings.

Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams related to the manufacturing of various coatings and lubrication additives. Oversaw quality control and process improvement initiatives to meet or exceed the quality goals.

- Advise students in course selections for upcoming semesters.- Empowered students to enhance their academic, career, and personal development by connecting them to various campus resources that best matched their short and long-term goals, designed degree plans, and provided guidance in resume creation and job searching.- Involved with the development of 20+ annual workshops that touched on various academic and career development topics such as time management, resume writing, interview skills, and career development planning; over 450 students attended these workshops in the 2011-2012 academic year.- Collaborated with several other professional and peer advisors to meet the needs of students, alumni, and employers that utilized the Advising Center. In the 2011-2012 academic year there were over 11,000 in-office student advising contacts, 4,000 phone and e-mail advising contacts, 1,000 resumes critiqued, and 200 employers who visited the office.

Tutor and supplemental instructor for Chemistry and Biochemistry courses.

- Welcomed new students to the University of Michigan-Flint.- Evaluated and redesigned workshops for incoming new students with a set of specific learning outcomes emphasizing student-faculty relationships, academic expectations, and the Common Read program.- Collaborated with a diverse group of fellow orientation leaders during early communication and various retention programs.

- Collaborated with faculty for the preparation and execution of learning objectives.- Supervised students to ensure proper safety protocol is followed during experiments.- Prepared chemicals and equipment for use by students.
