Teaching assistant in the Bechtel Innovation Design Center (formerly the Artisan Fabrication Lab), an on-campus manufacturing facility providing students and faculty hands-on access to industry standard equipment.

Performed a feasibility assessment on eliminating the fans and noise from an existing product line. Completed thermal simulations and optimizations, in-house machining of new components, manufacturing and assembly of working prototype, and climate controlled testing. Proved that with modifications, system could support greater mounting flexibility with zero noise.

Supported company employees in programming, machining, and quality control testing of flight rated hardware. Gained knowledge of quality systems and aerospace standards (AS9100) and trained on quality assurance tooling.

Implemented an update to the company's existing autoclave. Update included installing faster electronics, a more intuitive and powerful user interface, and increased functionality to keep up with ever changing certification requirements.

- Managed 10 engineers, coordinated program-wide budgeting, communicated with other group heads to ensure timely completion of Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)- Defeated 28 universities from 13 countries and 10 states to become three time MATE international underwater robotics champions
