  As a lead Partner within Gardiner & Theobald's Construction and Property Tax team, I am able to draw on a significant amount of knowledge and experience to assist clients in optimising their tax savings when incurring expenditure on property. This is primarily focused on Capital Allowances, VAT and Environmental tax reliefs but remains fluid to accept the ever changing tax landscape that shifts according to Government priorities at any given point.I am able to utilise expertise drawn from the world of construction, through my background as a cost consultant and my immersion in Gardiner & Theobald. This is combined with my targeted understanding of the tax legislation, case law and HMRC approach to specific construction tax opportunities.My experience extends from large Corporates, REIT's and Investment Funds with extensive and ongoing exposure in the property sector to those, like occupiers, incurring significant construction related capex but on a more infrequent basis.
