Managed the Data services engineering team which was tasked with providing rapid access to large volumes of financial data (E.G. - instrument details, current + historical pricing, FX rates, indexes, corporate actions, etc...).Expanded team from 4 engineers on a single team to 15 engineers across multiple teamsBuilt a scalable infrastructure + interface to store, modify, and access complex financial instrument and pricing data models to support both downstream components and customer workflows.Created custom connectors to ingest position data in various formats (SWIFT, etc...) from client custodians for use in reconciling transactions with the accounting system of record. Also integrated with multiple 3rd party vendors (ICE, Telemet, Factset...) to consume real time data feeds for pricing, instrument details, corp actions, etc...)Worked closely with our operations team to define the org-wide agile planning/tracking framework, and coached other Engineering Managers during the adoption process.Intern Program Manager Facilitated the intern project content, pairing of interns w/full time devs, and final presentations Directly managed half of the intern cohort, successfully converted >80% of interns to full time hires for both 2020 + 2021

Engineering Manager for the Intel graphics driver content protection team. Tasked with writing graphics driver code to leverage hardware encryption to protect proprietary data streams (Bluray, Netflix, AI models, etc...)Expanded the team from an initial size of two engineers to 16 developers and QA engineers to take on the increased scope. Managed both local and remote direct reports.Collaborated with hardware and software architecture leads to design graphics driver solutions for the secure display of protected media content in a wide array of use cases and hardware platforms.Designated as an agile coach for an engineering organization of 150+ developers. Worked with scrum teams struggling or in difficult situations (cross-geo collaboration, etc.). Coordinated with team leads to ensure alignment on scaled agile solutions.Served as agile coach to organize and lead formal training for developers, scrum masters, product owners, and program managers as part of the transition. Collaborated with program management to unify milestone tracking and planning process (scrum of scrums) and tools (Jira).

I started working for Framehawk in Dec 2012, where my duties ranged from front-end UI design and implementation to optimizing network data transfer and pretty much everything in between. I worked with many programming languages on a regular basis (Objective C, C++, Java, Python...), and in many different development environments and operating systems.In January 2014 Framehawk was purchased by Citrix, and I was hired by Citrix as part of the acquisition. Once the acquisition was complete, I worked directly with an existing engineering team to integrate the Framehawk technology into the Citrix infrastructure.

Administered maintainence for workstations for a staff of 50+ employees at multiple locations and collaborated with off site staff to maintain servers. Worked with skydive photographers to create and edit customer DVDs on a daily basis. Put together marketing/promo videos when needed. Video recording was done with a combination of GoPro and Sony CX cameras, editing was done with Edius/Adobe Premiere, as well as Adobe After Effects to create unique effects for marketing/promo videos.

Worked in both large and small AGILE teams to develop an oil/gas measurement platform based mostly on C++ code. Projects included integrating CygNet’s SCADA platform with ArcGIS software to provide a real-time geographical display of SCADA information and creating a utilities that relied on complex SQL queries to intelligently display oil/gas measurement data, among others. Helped maintain a large code base containing many previous projects.

Provided technical support to a staff of 60+ employees. This included keeping servers and workstations up to date, distributing equipment, and troubleshooting any other technical problems that arose.
