I am currently a PGY1 Resident Pharmacist at West Anaheim Medical Center. Prior to my current position, I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Loma Linda University, my BS in Biochemistry at California State University, Fullerton and earned my AA in Chemistry at Fullerton College. I am interested in providing patient-centered care in a clinical setting, working with other healthcare providers inter-professionally to ensure that each patient receives the best healthcare. I hold an interest in Ambulatory Care, Critical Care, and Emergency Medicine. Being involved church driven community events, I strive to help underserved communities not only with their physical needs, but also with their spiritual needs. I aim to continue serving underserved populations as I plan to pursue a PGY-2 Residency in one of the mentioned fields.As mentioned before, I am heavily involved with my church. I currently serve as the Worship Leader at Calvary Chapel La Verne and participate in community events such as Vacation Bible School. As the Worship Leader, I coordinate with other musicians to prepare the congregation's heart to receive God's word. And as I participate in community based events, I hope to help underserved communities in a positive way by providing supplies that every human being deserves, and exhorting the people in those communities through the love of Jesus. Additionally, I serve as a PGY1 Resident Pharmacist, I want the goal of continuing Jesus' healing ministry through my work as a clinical pharmacist. More often than not, patients are dealing with more than just physical ailments. They're also hurting spiritually and emotionally, and I hope to touch each patient spiritually by how I treat them. All of these experiences together have helped to build a person that not only knows pharmacology, but even more importantly, a person that communicates, organizes, and collaborates effectively. In turn, this will lead to treating a person wholly, beyond their diseases and infirmities.
