I act as a runner for the Engineering Department in the International Broadcast Center in Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympics. I spent 45 days on sight as a part of Ithaca Colleges NBC Olympics Internship Program. I worked to implement and maintain the MATV and IPTV networks providing television connectivity to areas inside the IBC at client hotels and at park venues.

My duties at Icon included working side by side with integrators in the integration for GameCreek Video's Pride and Glory Mobile Production units. I terminated 1855A 1605A 1505A with BNC and DINN connectors soldered 3, 4 and 5 pin XLR connectors, 50 pin SCSI connectors and assembled Ram Latch Connectors. I also wired evertz EQX routers, GrassValley Kayanne switchers and control panels.

The Steve Katsos show is a late night talk show from Boston MA. The show airs on SKY 219 in the United Kingdom and in over 50 public access stations across the USA. I started on the show as a Junior in high school as a camera operator. I quickly moved up to TD the show and most recently direct the show. We have 5 cameras and a live studio audience. I also act as an engineer for the show setting up the studio, cameras monitors and webcast equipment. The show is based in Boston Massachusetts and I attend college in Ithaca New York which limits my participation on the show during the semesters I am in school. During the weeks I am in Boston I am the shows Tech Director and Tech manager. Working with the studio we shoot at to assure we have the proper equipment to produce the show.

My duties included, working on day to day operations in the office building gear racks, cable, flypacks, and assisting with field production setup. I also interacting with clients, networked client computers and set up webcasts. Additionally I Attached clients presentations and media to video equipment and incorporated client materials into productions. I also communicated with dealers and distributors purchasing and renting equipment as needed.
