Managed operations, manning, scheduling, and readiness of 6 local and 2 geographically separate mobile diving and salvage companies each with 17 personnel and $3.6 million of equipment. Synchronize planning, logistics, and employment in support of worldwide expeditionary diving and salvage operations with annual $7.2 million budget. Led 108-person team while deployed in Bahrain for 6 months; executed 47 successful operations across 8 countries.Planned/led logistics for 28 deployments to Western Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and Africa; moved 294 tons of equipment with 100% accountability and no losses.Managed $1.7 million travel budget; increased program assessment from 33% to record 98% for 8 units.

Maintained/tactically employed 150 counter remote controlled improvised explosive device (RCIED) electronic warfare systems worth over $15 million. Voluntarily travelled in Al Anbar Province, Iraq to maintain systems and train 213 personnel.Developed excel-based reporting system; achieved 100% fully mission capable rate of all RCIED systems; resulted in zero RCIED casualties throughout 11-month tour in Iraq.Led and evaluated RCIED tacticians during 40+ convoy operations in combat zone; awarded Bronze Star.Lauded by commander as “#1” of 5 junior officers for “excelling in unconventional ground combat role.”

Led 20 highly trained technicians operating anti-air radar, missile and display systems valued at $1.8 billion aboard guided missile destroyer. Synchronized across 5 command departments for training and certifications of anti-air warfare program for 50 personnel. Managed over $2.3 million of repairs, installations and system upgrades.Developed/led realistic training scenarios; achieved 97% rating, highest of 5 combat programs onboard ship.Rated by commander as “#1” of 15 division officers; lauded as “natural leader,” “brilliant tactician,” and “superb mentor”; recommended for early command and promotion and awarded Navy Achievement Medal.

Uss John L. Hall

Led 10-person division operating and maintaining 4 service diesel generators, 4 air compressors, and all other auxiliary machinery aboard $595 million guided-missile frigate. Selected out of 17 officers to analyze 700 intelligence reports; compiled/developed procedures that ultimately resulted in seizure of over 10 tons of narcotics and arrest of 17 suspected narco-terrorists.Rated by commander as “#1” of 13 division officers and lauded for “outperforming peers in every aspect.

Led 13-person division maintaining/operating radio/satellite communications and equipment including 2 LANs and 52 workstations on $595 million frigate. Maintained 565 line items of top secret and classified communications security equipment.Led team in $2 million total shipboard LAN replacement; completed in 4 days, minimizing network transition.Reorganized communications security program; achieved 96.4% assessment, highest score in ship’s history. Lauded by commander as “most reliable and dependable” of ensigns, “leaps and bounds above all others.”
