O Altar Productions (client), - Toronto, ON, Canada-Provided rotoscope and 2D compositing services for the short film: “Fearfully & Wonderfully Made”-Assisted in organizing a team of artists and assigning various tasks for post production.-Worked on several shots, providing roto-work, keying, clean-plates, screen replacement, source correction, hair removal/recreation, and intergrating some basic effects such as muzzle flashes.

-Managed, trained, and mentored a team of artists converting feature films and documentaries from 2D to Stereoscopic 3D. -Responsible for the total output of the team, but was also expected to complete some of the most challenging shots and creative tasks as an individual artist as well. -Assigned and re-balanced shots within the team based upon artist abilities, schedule, and availability.-Effectively balanced quality and efficiency; ensuring all shots met or exceeded Company and Client standards, while never missing expected deadlines.-Played an integral part in developing the department’s pipeline; which included beta-testing new techniques, tools, and software, as well as generating training material for successful implementation.-Collaborated with other Leads and teams as needed, but also utilized strong communication and teamwork skills when interfacing with other departments, such as Production, Development, IT, and Compositing. -Met with Creative Supervisors and Production Coordinators on a daily-basis to ensure all shots were moving as efficiently as possible and to collaborate on the most effective strategy when obstacles would arise.-Proactively provided all artists on the team with the most up-to-date training on software and workflow, and gave as much individual attention as necessary to ensure artists were meeting performance standards and consistently growing their skills.-Assisted veteran artists in achieving Senior or even Lead roles as the company expanded.A few recent projects from this period include: Spider-man: Homecoming, Dr. Strange, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Ghostbusters, and IMAX: A Beautiful Planet.

Worked in a hybrid position between two departments converting feature films to Stereo 3D; building depth into environments and volume into characters/objects, as well as compositing, rotoscoping, generating clean plates, providing stereo artifact removal, source correction, and manipulating Z-depth assets, etc. Titles included: The Little Mermaid 3D, Poltergeist, The Walk, and Jupiter Ascending.

Burbank, Ca

Worked heavily with Nuke and proprietary tools to create depth maps and transform 2D images into 3D for some of the biggest blockbusters. While applying skills gained from previous work experience as a Stereo Artist, learned new approach to the process; grasping a greater perspective on 3D conversion, compositing, as well as gaining experience in another VFX pipeline and Post-Production work environment. Completed during this time: Titanic 3D, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, and Marvel’s The Avengers.

Worked with multiple talented teams of artists converting feature films from 2D to stereo 3D in the “Golden Age” of 3D Conversion - just following the hype of James Cameron’s Avatar. Quickly earned a Senior Artist position and assisted Lead Artist in training and mentoring others, and also in producing some of the more advanced shots. Some titles during this time included: Shrek 1-3, The Green Hornet, Top Gun, and Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon.

Transported and set up professional lighting and stage props for high-end corporate and private events and parties across the greater San Diego area.

Periodically worked on several small graphic design contracts that included logos and graphics for a variety of merchandise such as drinking glasses, hoodies, shirts and other souvenirs. Also produced logos and graphics for use on store signs, ads, posters, and menus for another business within the same facility.
