At 10/11 Television, I have produced 125+ commercials for a variety of local businesses throughout the state of Nebraska. This includes writing the script, contacting voiceover artists, scheduling and directing video shoots, filming the footage, and editing the overall commercial. I've also created display ads for local companies that are seen on 1011now.com.

Jacht Agency is a student-run advertising agency. At Jacht, I worked on video projects for several clients, including the College of Engineering Masters of Engineering program, Boys and Girls Club Lincoln, and Jacht's Internal team. My work included storyboarding, creating shot lists, shooting footage, and editing it all together. Through my work at this company, I grew my skills in audio editing, color correction, and storytelling.

At GenR8 Marketing, I edited 300+ videos for local companies in Nebraska. My work was extremely hands-on, where I interacted directly with clients to ensure that their story was being portrayed correctly. I would also capture video and photo for certain clients when necessary.

As a Peer Mentor, I got to work directly with freshmen to help them transition into the College of Journalism and Mass Communication (CoJMC) at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln (UNL). Here, the goal was to help these students survive their first semester and become successful at UNL. I accomplished this by becoming familiar with class registration, the four majors offered at CoJMC, and sharing my personal experience as a student. The time commitment involved attending weekly classes with the students, holding office hours once a week, and having multiple one-on-one meetings with my mentees.

During this internship, I helped populate e-commerce websites with content, mainly photography. This internship gave me the opportunity to learn to work in HTML and CSS. My final project was to write code for a potential website on Jib Cranes, where I created a branding guide that can be seen on my website.
