CurrentPosition supported NASA's Exploration & In-space Services (NExIS) Projects Division at Goddard Space Flight Center.• Managed a complex Creo assembly of a robotics lab, utilizing simplified representations and nested sub-assemblies to streamline the workflow, resulting in a 70% reduction in load times and improved change tracking across multiple users.• Leveraged Creo and Solidworks to design numerous robotic stands, interface structures, and end-effectors in accordance with NASA guidelines and ASME Y14.5 standards.• Utilized Creo Simulate to perform finite element stress analyses on a range of mechanical designs, from individual parts to large assemblies.• Optimized CAD models in ROS-based visualizations and Unity virtual reality (VR) scenes using Pixyz, reducing file sizes by up to 90% and significantly improving performance.• Refined the shading and texturing of CAD models in Blender to achieve a consistent and realistic appearance.• Implemented a Unity to ROS 1 pipeline to stream telemetry between physical robots and VR scenes, enhancing operator awareness and scene realism.• Developed MATLAB scripts for robotic workspace analysis, trajectory planning, and joint-space limiting, optimizing test procedures and ensuring safe operating environments.• Developed custom dynamic and interactive webpages using JavaScript and HTML to streamline robotic test procedures, operations, and facilities management.• Drafted test procedures and acted as a serial robotic operator and safety monitor during various pre-flight mission and software release tests.• Built the electronics and pneumatics for a 3,300lbs gravity offload device used to simulate frictionless motion in robotic tests. • As the certified trainer, I revised the operator’s manual and updated the training protocols for safety, successfully training over 20 personnel as operators.
