After graduating with Dean’s Honors from UWM School of Architecture and Urban Planning, I worked as a lead architectural designer at Flux Design, LLC for four years. As a lead designer, I participated in all stages of the design process. From conceptual ideation to technical and custom fabrication documents, I helped design over 100 projects for both residential and commercial clients.I have spent seven years working for Kohl's as a member of the Store Experience & Design team, where I was tasked with the conceptual design and implementation of various retail projects within our department stores. My responsibilities as Creative Design Manager included working with many different cross-functional departments at Kohl's, engaging 3rd party vendors throughout the design and prototyping process, and managing capital projects from initial ideation to final in-store execution.I have spent two years with Gabor Design Build in Germantown. As a project designer with Gabor, my primary responsibilities included schematic and technical design, site measuring, project bidding, and construction documentation. I also sought a hybrid role on our sales team and was actively being trained in sales in addition to my primary role. The ability to work directly with our clients, and build a relationship of trust throughout the project was truly rewarding. Areas of expertise include project management, creative / schematic design, architectural / technical design, 3D modeling, 2D drafting, spatial planning and layouts, furniture and product design, sales, and client interactions.
