The New Leaders Program was established more than a decade ago to bring together early to mid-career professionals from diverse sectors with a shared goal of shaping New York's future for the better. 1. Oversaw a group of over 200 corporate responsibility leaders across the Partnership's 350+ members, including financial institutions, real estate firms, law firms, and tech companies2. Advanced career pathway initiatives with NYC Public Schools and DYCD to connect hundreds of high school and college students to internships and work-based learning activities at Partnership member companies3. Managed the launch of the Homeless Assistance Fund, an $8 million public private partnership between government, nonprofit, and over 60 companies to alleviate homelessness throughout New York City4. Directed the David Rockefeller Fellows program which immerses senior executives with public sector and elected leaders including the NYC Public Schools Chancellor, City Council Speaker, and Police Commissioner

1. Led the Navy Yard’s career pathways work to create equitable paths to economic mobility and wealth creation for young New Yorkers2. Designed and implemented the Navy Yard’s Internship Program which connects more than 150 qualified students with over 75 businesses through paid internships3. Transitioned the Summer Internship Program and the Brooklyn STEAM Center’s work-based learning programming to remote opportunities following New York City’s shutdown in March 20204. Expanded partnerships with the City University of New York, St. Francis College, Hudson Valley Community College, and other higher education institutions to:---- Scale career pathway programs across the city, like CUNY’s Internship to Employment Program which serves 70 businesses and CUNY graduates around New York City---- Connect faculty to the 400+ businesses on the Navy Yard, enabling faculty to receive feedback on what needs to be taught to best prepare students for their careers---- Arrange for graduates from the Brooklyn STEAM Center to receive up to 9 college credits for prior learning and work done in high school---- Create an employer-sponsored full-tuition reimbursement program that guarantees a full-time job upon graduation from college, saving participants $6,000 on college costs5. Convened over 60 employer and higher education partners to launch industry-led work-based learning programs that expose students at the Brooklyn STEAM Center to in demand careers6. Institutionalized data tracking systems with Airtable across the Navy Yard’s career pathways programs to ensure accurate reporting on program outcomes and refine the program’s mission and vision
