Adaptive Resilience is an early stage emergency services business project. Established through my Master’s degree capstone project, Adaptive Resilience uses design thinking, UX/CX, and information science to analyze pain points and issues in emergency response information gathering and dissemination to provide end-to-end solutions using data aggregation and standardization platforms. It was selected as the first project proposal from the UW MLIS program to an NSF I-Corps run by UW CoMotion Innovation Lab, a pre-accelerator program guiding innovative ideas through early development and grant processes. It has been recently awarded grant funding for my innovation.Some of my accomplishments:• Lead 30+ generative and evaluative user/customer research initiatives to inform user personas and inspire design decisions• Created visual guides, wireframes, and clickable prototypes using Invision, Xtensio, and other software tools to communicate product design• Developed persuasive business models, summarized findings, and presented recommendations to stakeholders to meet requirements and gain approval• Made strategic design and user experience decisions to related to features addressing critical pain points emergency response services experience

I worked with a team that researches emergency management documentation in the Pacific Northwest. We pinpointed information gaps in multi-regional emergency coordination efforts for large scale disaster.
