-DQR and data validation (stage 1, 2A, 2B, 3, and 4) on a miriad of USEPA methodology including PFOA/PFAS in order to meet DOD/DOE QSM requirements.-Direct communication and coordination with laboratories in bottle orders and methodology to be tested.-EQAPP management for ADR. EQAPP and database management for ERPIMS and FUDSChem.-Managing procurement of heavy equipment, supplies, PPE and subcontracting laboratory services to support multiple Federal projects such as USACE and USAFB remediation sampling events.-Writing and detail-checking reports (QAPP, RI, SI, etc.) in order to meet clients’ needs.

-Corrosion testing of roughly 120 samples/month of sludge, organic, and aqueous samples from 70,000 miles of natural gas pipelines across America in order to prevent pipeline ruptures. Testing includes, but is not limited to, general chemistry techniques such as dilutions, pipetting, titrations, and acid and water digestions. -Maintenance, operation, analysis, and sample preparation for instruments including Karl Fischer Titrator, GC (Hydrocarbons and glycols), XRD, Spectrophotometer, Pine RCE (simulates field conditions on pipeline corrosion), Microwave (acid digestion for metal analysis), pH, alkalinity, and conductivity. Leading safety meetings on a semi-annual basis.

-Moved to El Paso for spouse’s relocation.-While actively seeking long term employment in my field, taught high school students English, Algebra, Calculus, and Chemistry.

-Supervised and trained three direct reports on safety practices and quality testing procedures on products used for multiple internationally recognized consumer and industrial brands. Products include coatings and sealants used in flexible, rigid, and paper-based packaging, as well as labels and digital printing.-QA/QC approved over fifty (50) UV and blacklight-activated coatings and resin product batches daily.-Improved the work efficiency of the quality department through re-formulation of products, yielding 15% less product reworks every month.-Established a new equipment inventory database and oversaw the weekly calibration for over eighty (80) pieces of equipment in the production area, the research lab, and the quality assurance lab. Implemented and trained employees on new SOP's, JSA’s and safety practices in the lab.

-Direct management of nine (9) employees, supervising tasks, root-cause-analysis, and data testing in ensuring that quality assurance was exceeded for the second largest wallboard manufacturer in the US. Conducted monthly quality training presentations on the process and use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) for all sixty (60) plant employees and managers.-Resolved approximately six (6) quality-related complaints every month. In 2016, 70% of customer complaints were settled without loss of profit.-Prepared the plant for the annual quality audit, resulting in raising the audit score from 75% in 2014 to 88% in 2015 most notably from responding to customer complaints through the implementation of new equipment in production, substantially reducing persistent product quality issues-Created and implemented SOP's and JSA's, including three (3) new JSA’s and SOP’s for newly installed manufacturing equipment in order to prevent safety occurrences and to properly train employees on usage. This resulted in increased employee and machine efficiency, and the reduction of twelve (12) hours per month of production downtime.-Oversaw Quality Assurance of newly developed products during plant trials.-pH, Cl, and purity testing, budget and lab reports, chemical inventory, and monthly equipment/instrument calibrations.

-Hand selected to complete a development program in order to become the Plant Manager.-Created new SOP's and JSA's and directly conducted monthly training for safety quality control practices through Statistical Process Control, and corporate communication standards for over seventy (70) plant employees.-Managed the logistics of an offsite warehouse used by the plant for overflow of product during an ongoing capital project. Oversaw that at least forty (40) trucks a day were properly loaded and secured while communicating logistics with three (3) different trucking company managers.-Created the first Mount Holly plant-specific training guide using footage and knowledge gained of the plant’s entire process, for use by future Manufacturing Management Development Program trainees and new employees alike.-Oversaw Quality Assurance of newly developed products during plant trials.-Laboratory testing included pH, Cl, and micro-analysis of wallboard products.

-Managed a research project to reformulate the company's best-selling plaster product. After two (2) months of going out to the field and dealing with eight (8) different customers to understand customer demand and complaints, the project was complete and the company realized over $35,000 in annual savings as a bonus.-Successfully completed a project, with a one (1) month deadline, to QC test for and replace a discontinued raw material in one of the company's plaster products. In less than two (2) weeks, the project was completed.-Daily preparation and testing of over thirty (30) customer product samples for quantitative and qualitative analysis. Sample testing included wet chemical preparation; water digestion, acid digestion, pH, Chloride, and starch analysis. Instrument calibration and analysis included ICP, XRD, TGA, DSC, Particle Size Analyzer, SEM, BET Specific Surface Area, FTIR, Viscometer, TIC, UV/Vis.-Conducted investigations of sample data to determine each of the sample's physical and chemical properties, molecular structure, and composition in order to meet customer demand. Reported product quality to clients daily through lab reports and group presentations.-Chemical inventory and MSDS database upkeep of over 200 chemicals.

-Qualitatively and quantitatively prepared twenty (20) highly fluorinated pincer samples and conducted electrochemical reactions utilizing voltmeters within glove boxes daily. -Obtained and interpreted cyclic voltammograms and square wave spectra of the prepared samples; conducted large group presentations to demonstrate the theory, technique, and results of the study.
